Today  let’s go through some hacks that if we practice , will surely relieve the mechanical boredom of daily life. Its so simple tips that we are very much familiar and inexpensive. Life now a days has become so complicated that even if we wish to we are not able to change the situation. It has actually become a phenomenon . Its effect is most on the children and my kids are also no different.  They are lost in an imaginary world created by them. They are least bothered about what is happening in the outside world. Not even children many grown ups too have these problems. It is the responsibility of elders of the family to take initiative steps so that the  system can be changed.

Make Books Good Friends

Books are our good friends. Make books our good friends. They inculcate in us many things such as knowledge, fun, power to imagine etc. The pleasure we get from reading is beyond expressions.  It is important to cultivate habit of reading right from the childhood. Book reading enables to understand things in a wide manner. When I read a book I usually visualize the whole situation. I think if I was one of the character what should I do. Book reading improves our imagination and thinking capacity. Book reading helps one to understand the thoughts and cultures of different people.  It helps one know how to think positively always. It makes the person more cultured and sophisticated. A person who have books as good friends will always be calm and pleasing in spite of alarming situations.

Spent some time with Nature

‘Nature is the Best Medicine’. It can easily heal our wounds/worries. Spent some time with nature, It may be just walking around your yard, just go to a nearby park, watering the plants in your courtyard, planting a seed/sapling etc. Roaming around in the open air refreshes our mind and body.  We can feel a positive vibe within ourselves. We breathe fresh air and our body will get a good supply of oxygen which is scarce now a days. Scientifically saying it is good for a healthy mind as well as a healthy body. Moreover it is the best way to teach one the relation between nature and man and how important is to maintain a balance with nature and to preserve it. So try to create even a small garden in your terrace or balcony or in a courtyard and make your mind and body happy and healthy.

Take a Trip in between

If you are feeling dull or getting bored at home for a long time, then take a trip in between. Going out for a picnic with family/friends will rejuvenate our minds and body. As we are away from home we are also away from our daily stress and strains.  A new place or a new atmosphere generates joy and excitement. Obviously it is a wonderful experience that one can have. By travelling we can explore new places and new cultures and we can experience things visually as it will be stored in our mind for a long period. It  gives us a practical experience of the world. Travelling widens our outlook. A person becomes more social and optimistic through travel. It could be fun or informative. Moreover its a training to the mind and creates a new spirit.

Develop a Hobby

The famous proverb ‘ An Idle Mind is a Devil’s Workshop’ exactly potray  how our mind will be filled with negative thoughts when we have nothing to do. So the best part is to develop a hobby. Hobby is actually a pleasant activity usually done in leisure times which one has interest in. Hobbies provide a relaxation to our mind from the daily monotonous routine. They are done for refreshment and enjoyment also. There are different types of hobbies like gardening, fishing, collection of stamps and coins, bird-watching music, dance etc. Hobbies can be recreational as well as money making.   One must develop a hobby according to their interest / talent. A hobby keeps us away from pessimistic thoughts and makes us active and happy. Hobbies are productive in the sense and they gives our mind something positive to hold on.

Promote Sports

We were discussing about how to keep our mind healthy. but for a sound life along with a healthy mind we need a healthy body too. Here comes the importance of Sports/ games. Practicing games daily makes body fit and strong. It nurtures team spirit and discipline in both children and adults. Games and sports teaches us the significance of healthy competitions. Everybody wants success . They are not ready to face failure. People are not ready to respect each other and only aim to win at any cost. It is very essential to bring awareness that healthy participation is vital not success or failure. Playing games also makes muscles strong and flexible. Children should be encouraged in several sports activities along with studies, Playing games with family members or friends should be made a daily routine. It is beneficial to spend more time playing sports than sitting in front of mobile and computer. It is also necessary for the young generation to learn take victory or failure in the same spirit  throughout their life.
